Not affected, but I am annoyed by this. As I wrote on Naomi's thread, unless hospital admissions or deaths have increased alarmingly (which doesn't appear to be happening), then why are people being "locked up" in their homes again? As I said on one of last night's threads, the number of new cases in Burnley is 4 - that's F O U R. Hardly the end of the world - not even the beginning of the end of the world. Yet my town is one of those on the list. Fiction Factory pointed out to me that the government (in their wisdom - my words, not his) have realised that if the Muslims in Blackburn (whose C19 numbers have spiked) cannot visit their relatives there, they will probably travel to outlying areas to celebrate Eid? So the people of Burnley are prevented visiting their loved ones because of what someone thinks 'might' happen.
