Biden was Trump's nightmare scenario - until the pandemic took that role over :-) . He was looking forward to someone like Sanders to scare the voters. The Democrats' biggest danger is voter apathy.
I don't accept the idea that a significant number of voters are ashamed to admit to pollsters that they won't vote this way or that way. More likely discrepancies occur through simply not tapping all sources. In this case, if the polls remain the same, it would have to be shame or polling incompetence on rather a dramatic scale.
I thought it was quite funny that after all his railing against postal voting, guess who's applied for one, along with his wife (!)

I'm not convinced that Trump supporters are shy about that fact, since most of them can barely shut up about it. On the other hand, they are (and always have been!) in a minority, so it's more a question of where Biden's votes come from, and if he wins in a few key states.
At the moment, it's odds-on Biden, but I get bothered by people seeming to think it's in the bag already.

According to odds checker.com, Biden is the odds-on favourite to win.

I'll take your word for it on betting sites, danny, let me rephrase slightly: Biden has a comfortable lead, currently, in the polls both nationwide and in several key states. In that sense, if the election were held tomorrow, Biden would (probably) win, which makes him, as far as I can see, odds-on. I'm not sure what the betting site logic is but I'm certainly happy to accept that, as the election is not tomorrow, there's plenty of time for Trump to recover somehow.

The Democratic cities are in meltdown due to the defunding the police agenda like New York, Chicago, LA and Seattle. Trump will use this as his rallying cry, he already is. Biden looked very doddery when on the platform with Kamala, it looked Like she was holding him up.
Won’t be the first time a president has had Alzheimer’s in office. Reagan did at the end of his presidency.
This reminds me of the French elections some years ago when they had to vote between ‘the racist’ or ‘the crook’!

DANNY, I've not seen odds expressed in that way but a negative figure means odds-on and a positive means odds-against.
