The British govt don’t want them executed.
A supposed trade between them and an American wanted here would not be appropriate even were it morally justifiable because for one thing we don’t actually have them, the Americans do, and secondly, as I indicated earlier, the Americans appear to have a further card to play
Ignoring the two thugs (Seriously, who could care less if two terrorists get executed?), another reason for hoping that Trump's days are numbered is that Biden may well be easier to negotiate with when it comes to the extradition of certain wanted persons.
ich: "A supposed trade between them and an American wanted here would not be appropriate even were it morally justifiable because for one thing we don’t actually have them, the Americans do," - who said we have them? I said we should trade the information they want from us.
I still don't get it. If they are in US custody in Iraq why can't they just be put on a plane to America? The UK needn't be involved and the death penalty can be applied if convicted.
if they were tried here..if, thye would in time probably be freed, then ask for compensation, and more than likely get it, and use tax payers cash to fight us, in america they will never see the light of day again.
