how was this not picked up sooner, and why does she not have to give the money back..no fines either...this sends a signal, nothing will really happen, no prison, no return of public funds.

I often see cases like this in the news and as far as I can tell, they very rarely pay the money back. Drives me mad!
un-effing-believable, no wonder they want to come here! Soon as you do anything they play the race card. LibFac Britain, kin wonderful!
Gross incompetence in a public run body. There should be no surprise there, the whole stinking lot is riddled with overpaid and under-worked staff.
there should be no benefits paid in cash anyway.
Look at her all covered up as well so no-one can recognise her!!
Tip of an iceberg.
She's also got 8 kids, people like this are bleeding this country dry.
Too me, if you don't pay anything into the system, you don't get anything out.
Eight children under 13, husband with schizophrenia, claiming benefits for relatives abroad. So what has she given to Britain?
Apologies though......she is full of remorse.....For Funks Sake

Claimed she lacked skills in understanding how to live in society as a responsible adult and yet she had the skills on how to defraud the system.
"there should be no benefits paid in cash anyway."

How many folk get their benefits in cash?
now you are having a laugh, you know what I mean they should not be paid in actual money in whatever form you choose to use.
No benefits at all then?
did I say that?
I think TTT means food vouchers
Did you mean receiving something other than money?
Food 'vouchers' are a bit outdated. They could be given a card that could only be used for groceries, not booze or fags.
Over paid under worked staff really?
I wonder if there was someone on the inside at DWP helping her. I cannot see why no-one would have queried why she was also claiming for the aunt and uncle without checking and asking to see them.
Genuine claimants often find the system a complex nightmare but those who defraud it seem to manage it with ease.
