I recall a police force being ridiculed a few years back. They published a Wanted Poster with regard to a dangerous absconder from prison. They wrote words to the effect,'Do not approach this man or attempt to detain him.If you see him call 101 or 999'.
Although in possession of his mugshot they omitted to put it on the wanted poster as they said it contravened Data protection Law.
