Johnson, and his party have suffered a dramatic slump in the polls, after their Chaotic handling of exams and Local lockdowns . According to a new poll, only 29% say they still have Faith in Johnson and his Govt.
This Poll put Keir Starmer Ahead of Johnson, ..... Good News..... .

There's a long time before the next election is a possibility. It's positive for Labour, but let's not start counting chickens.
No doubt one of the usual suspects will be along soon to tell you how it's just a mid-term slump.
You are aware there is a fixed term?

Polls dont mean jack at this point in time.
It's not a mid term slump, there are 4 years to go.

Lets see how much kneeling Sir Keir can get in during those long 4 years for you all.
Sturgeon and her chums are even worse in their handling of Covid19 and their own chaotic exams results fiasco.Probably wont stop the nationalist Anglophobes voting for them however.Farage must be jealous.

YMB, if he is this unpopular after only nine months ,what the hell will he and his party be like in four years time.
HE is unpopular becuase of Covid and some of the stupid things he has done - like listen too much to Witless and Ferguson.

Whether the bed wetters like it or not Covid will be a distant memory in four years. If the economy is booming at the time that is what people will vote on.

And of course, who is to say it will be Johnson at the helm in four years. In politics a week is a long time!

Either way your not getting an election for 4 years so suck it up.
The Brexit Party still on there I notice :-)
Where is this new poll anyway Gully, I have not been able to find it.
Christ gulliver ,your post has really shocked me and thank you for bringing it tomy attention.
With the handling of the aspects of the covid 19 ,the killing grounds of the Old Folks homes, the bloody kids, teachers, unions all, bleeting on, the poor old workers and o to the tropical beaches.....?.........I can't believe that Boris et al are unpopular.
But a great post gullies......thanks
According to yougov Johnson’s rating is at its lowest since last October. It’s on minus 15 (38 to 53).
Gavin Williamson tho is at at impressive minus 38.
Rishi Sunak tops the cabinet popularity poll on plus 23.
Sir Keir is on plus 8.
Link please Gulliver. Webbo's YouGov link says the opposite of your OP so I think that's the one I'll believe unless you can post your link.

IPSOS MORI, Poll taken between 21st-24th Aug .
There's only one poll that counts - and it isn't this one.
The link posted by Webbo is to a different poll.
I can’t find the link on the Yougov site to the popularity poll.
I heard on the radio that Starmer is ahead of Johnson, but that Conservative are still ahead of Labour.
The poll Webbo posted shows an increase in support for the actual Tory party from last week
Probably the same result regarding the next IndyRef up here in Scotland. The SNP are riding high in the polls just now,but the referendum wont be until 2030 at the soonest.A lot can change in the next ten years.
Any chance of a link to back this up please Gulliver?
