Where do a get my figures from? Am happy to tell you & show your figures a wrong again judge. From the gov uk website- are new cases per day in UK increased from 1300 a day on 1 Sept to 7000 0n 1st Oct to 23000 on 1st Nov . Thats some increase. Maybe its doubling faster than a thought.

Maybe it is - so long as you don't think they are doubling every 12 days (which is what you mentioned earlier). Because they are not. You can find the number of daily new cases here:

They are the official government figures which are announced each day. As a guide, yesterday's figure (today's have, for some mysterious reason, not yet been released) was 25,177. Half of that is 12,588. The last time they were that low was 5th October (12,593). So it's taken 30 days to double to yesterday's figure.

As a matter of pedantry, official government figures are available at https://coronavirus.data.gov.uk/ -- the link NJ gives *should* be in line with the official, but sometimes isn't, and is in any case a secondary source.
