For once he would be right to stop the Christmas free-for-all. He might then come across to more people as a leader.

People are responsible for themselves an no amount of criticism is going to change that ,if we were swayed by what others say they want to see happen, we'd be like sheep!
but the government, scientists think we will all adhere to the rules, when clearly that's not the case.
Of course it isn't, people will either act responsibly or not, that's the way it's always been
I know what family are doing, and i for one will be at home, but that won;t stop others from meeting, enjoying each others homes, company. Business still has to go on too, you can;t stop that, there must be many that can't socially distance, or wear face masks
The Prime Minister has a resource, as yet untapped officially, comprising a dysfunctional band of insomniacs, alcoholics, split personalities, empty suits and fantasists.
He just refuses point blank to ask the editor for help.
Ed may not be on Douglas...
one can only do what one thinks is right, no amount of U Turns by this government or any party leader is going to change that
same as having the vaccine, one hopes that most will take up the offer, but many might not.
And that's what makes us the society we are, some will enjoy Christmas Day with family members responsibly, others will see it as a party, some will happily take the vaccine ( me) others won't, their choice and my choice :0)
yes Bobbi it is.
Diddly point is that this Free for all shouldn't happen, should Boris U turn, maybe.
Bring on the jab :-)
On news 370,000 people lost jobs in last three months.
Some Christmas for them :-(
NJ has it bang to rights he has said like Naomi, that we will have to somehow live with this virus. Sqad posted that its mutated, then we will have to find a way of living with that too. The country as a whole can;t shut down forever, its just not feasible
as a direct result of many of these shutdowns theland. And large stores going under,
Yes I agree. Life must go on in spite of the risks, in spite of the death toll. Sad but true.
I wish he would, and I wish all the restrictions had been enforced by the army if necessary. Work and exercise the only reasons to be out apart from on person in the family shopping once a week. Curfew at 6pm apart from work travel and naming and shaming in the press of anyone who broke the rules. No exemptions for mask wearing either. if you are not fit enough to go shopping in one you are not fit to be out shopping or in a bus full stop. To act in a way that is detrimental to the well-being of your fellow citizens is not freedom, not a right it's no different to a terrorist going out with the intention of bombing people. I think I need more coffee
so do i rowan
The sensible thing would be to not change the actual rules but do a publicity blitz telling people to be responsible
You need a shot of something in your coffee!
Hmmmm. Do I agree? Hmmmmmm!
Maybe. Soldiers on the streets?
