Worse than that, a bunch of idiots from the plague spot formerly known as London flew to our beautiful Covid-free corner of Ireland for "Christmas with their Family" - we now have a nasty cluster of infected households in the area as they weren't even sensible enough to keep it in the family, but went out on the lash 'til all hours in the next-door town ...

... general opinion is that they should be castrated and shot ... slowly.

A technical point: Apparently there has as yet been no recorded example of anyone being infected with Covid 19 onboard an aircraft, anywhere.

Awww! naughty naughty eh smurfchops? Tier this, tier that. SD this, SD that. Covid this, Covid that. And the infections continue to rise. Well, it's because of people like this isn't it, smurfchops. Or.....

.....maybe it's because the virus thrives in cooler weather, and all the lockdowns and tiers won't make any difference at all. I seem to remember "the science" telling us back in April that this virus doesn't like hot weather. Lo and behold during a heatwave, the infections and death rates tumble.

Then, your typical British summer returns in July, and everyone is asking what has happened to the weather. And infections start to rise along with the death rate, and despite all the tiers and the lockdowns the figures keep rising. And they'll keep rising. No matter what the govt do. What's that?
What about the Pfieffer vaccine? What about it? Happy Hancock says sunnier times are ahead. But he didn't say when. Or why.

But it's the fault of these "idiots", isn't it smurfchops? There can't possibly be any other reason for the rise in infections and deaths, can there, smurfchops?

Nothing new. They were flying into Heathrow in their thousands, daily, from China, Pakistan, Africa and the Middle East, when we were supposedly in full lockdown with no checks or isolation stipulations. Some even went straight back to work, after their annual visits home, on our hospital wards and we gave them the clap every Thursday. Here in N. Wales during the Summer there were then thousands of "visitors" from places, that were reportedly in lockdown, in large "social" groups who ignored the distancing and face cover guidelines with apparent impunity.

Cos I was listening to the news. Weren't you? We even had many "talks" about it on this site. Strange thing is though the people who are now making a song and dance about a few gits defying common sense were pointedly ignoring the same thing at the beginning of the year when it was thousands of them daily, because it didn't fit their twisted social template.

^ There were flights coming into the UK from China. They hardly had any passengers on them. They were carrying freight (in the cabin as well as the hold)

I know this doesn't include everyone... but we are in tier 4 and my sister, daughters and I have a covid test weekly due to work. We were all negative yesterday, so could well be safer than some in tier 1.

There seems to be only one airport on the English mainland that flies to the Scilley Isles - namely Lands End.
On the 24 December Lands End was not in Tier 4 (maybe it was tier 1 or maybe 2).
Not sure tier 4 even existed in England on the 24th December ).
