What hypocrisy on my part? If you're referring to why I was criticising Republicans for picking only their supporters and not Democrats, it's perhaps because all Democrat representatives are in agreement beforehand (so far as I am aware) that Impeaching is the right thing to do. On the other hand, there are known divisions in the Republican part of the House of Representatives. It would be surprising, particularly for someone so keen to go against "Cancel Culture", as he sees it, for those views not to be aired.

I am watching on NBCNews.
Just watched 3 Republicans, who were lamentable. Sadly, this is when the world is watching and expects, and they are failing.
Hopefully time will judge them. This stuff will all be history, and who did and didn’t do the right thing will be recorded, archived, and there for posterity.
A lot of careers will end today. A lot of reputations permanently besmirched.

A lot of Republicans are on the wane. Their influence fizzled out. A final chance to do the right thing, and they are queuing up to stillsupport Trump.
