thank god PP is right
someone can read !
She might have been just trying to shut you up, PP.
The masquerade of a 'news programme', when in reality, like most 'news' programmes, it is a 'views' programme. (speculative entertainment)
3 Trump haters speculating for the masses' consumption.
Acosta, who Trump denied White House press access, passing on alleged 'gossip' and hallowed Bernstein claiming Republicans forced Nixon out of office when a Democrat filed the impeachment papers and the Democrats had control of Congress and the Senate.

Seems some people completely swallow the Pablum.
SevenOP

The situation in 1973/74 was very different, which is why I do not think the Presidents are comparable.

After the Watergate investigation was completed and impeachment papers were drawn up, senior Republicans met, and concluded both Houses were likely to convict Nixon. So they convinced Nixon to resign knowing Ford would pardon him. Then the Republican Ford Presidency could take over.

This time, a Democratic President takes over. Even if Trump resigns today, Pence is unlikely to pardon him. Trump could just survive a Senate vote that needs a two thirds majority. If he doesn’t he will almost certainlt be convicted.

More interesting is that Trump could pardon the rioters, especially those who have already been charged.

But he has gone from "We love you" (and therefore would presumably consider pardoning you), while the riot was still taking place, to "These are the things and events that happen when a sacred landslide election victory is so unceremoniously & viciously stripped away" shortly after the riot, to "those who broke the law will pay" after a few days thinking about it.

So it looks like he will not be pardoning those people and is looking to distance himself from them. Looking after number one.

I think you're being very generous to him. What you really mean is "After a few days of his advisors making it very obvious to him that if he doesn't appear to change his mind he's in real trouble".
Sunk

Indeed. Like every human sperm and female egg are different. Comparisons can be odious but sometimes have some merit.
Paigntonian has an interest in the Milhous son, I find him interesting too. Smart cookie, shame the way he went. ( ALLegEDly)

Trump is not the only one alleged to have lost the plot ( in this ræl_ity perhaps ) ?¿?

Now who's lost the plot!
"Now who's lost the plot!"

People who uncritically believe all they are told and people who jump to conclusions without reviewing all the available evidence ?
I just thought your previous post was more PP than sevenOP.
Lost the plot? Did Trump ever have the plot to lose?
