Still shows as active at Companies House Brainiac.
I'm amazed, it really was the most bizarre place :)
Deport them to Papa Stronsay or Lunga is what I would do with them. Old accommodation is available on the former island, an outward bound on the latter.
//The Egg Stores well - one of the strangest shops I've ever encountered. I lived near there for many years, I wonder if it's still there?//

As mamy says, yes it is. "The Egg Stores" is at the southern end of Stamford Hill, just south of Stoke Newington Station. I'm not sure it sold eggs as I never went in there. Egerton Road (where said school is) is about a mile away, north of the Stamford Hill crossroads on the right as you head to Tottenham. At the end is Stamford Hill bus garage (which used to be a Trolleybus depot). My first job as a "Saturday Boy" was in "Cohen's Smoked Salmon" which was a small supermarket on the crossroads at Stamford Hill, diagonally opposite the cinema.

Mazel Tof !
I'll take your word for it, thanks. NJ.
No arrests necessary, just let them catch cov. And just ensure the vulnerable are kept away until they all are immune.
I agree with you on that front NJ. I come from down the road in Wood Green and my dad did a lot of business with the Jewish community (gold). As a kid I used to tag along with him when he collected jewellery/money, and I was never, ever allowed in the houses in Stamford Hill, they were very private people. If I had to put money on it, it would be that that was a Jewish wedding, and the school absolutely knew about it. Anyway, nowhere should be hired out for an event at the moment unless it's for Covid tests or vaccinations.
seems some people think they are above the law.....
that's the trouble, emmie, it's not really "law". Everything's been so vague since the beginning that it was fine to drive to Durham for an eye test.

Some people think they're above the "advice" but that's about the worst you can say of them. And virtually all the "fines" that were issued last year turned out to be illegal.
The organiser(s) of the wedding at the Jewish school face a £10,000 fine. But so far they haven’t been tracked down.

Surely to hire the hall they must have had a contact name and phone number. The fee for hiring must have gone through a bank or credit card company.
Exactly Sunk.
The 5 people fined must have had to give the police their contact details.
The Police can ask them who the invite came from.
The Bride and Groom (and family) know who they paid to organise the event and book the venue.

Seems really easy to track the culprits down. So why the delay?
Rocky I'm from Wood Green too - my dad used to take me down to Stamford Hill on a Saturday to a lovely bakers right on a corner.
Here's an idea - corral all party goers and inject them with covid for research purposes. If they don't believe it is a problem they shouldn't object should they.
Wow, we used to go on a Saturday morning to get bagels. Where abouts in WG are you from? I'm from Noel Park estate.
Me too - Lymington Avenue. Went to Noel Park Infant and Junior schools. Moved to Norfolk in 1981 and no family left there now since brother died almost four years ago.
OMG. I lived in Gladstone Ave until I was 12, then moved around the corner. I had many friend in Lymington. Am still in touch with some of them now. Was Mr Taylor the Head when you were there?
Sorry Needawin
No probably way before you - Mr Morgan was the head. Went to Wood Green School in 1965 when it was a grammar school then it changed to comprehensive after two years.
That's a bit before my time. One of my brothers went to WG school, but that was in 1983.

Small world though.
