you just can't pour concrete down there, if one life if lost then all hell to pay. I am not defending them, merely pointing out that lives are at stake here.
ok forget the concrete, raw sewage, redirect one of the many sewage pipes that must be nearby. Once they are up to their armpits in ice cold *** they'll come out.
i don't agree at all, i have no idea if they are socialites, or your mean socialists? but chances are they would rather put their lives at risk than get the hell out of there.
I worked on 3 or 4 jobs with swampy's on. They all had more 'Security Guards' than actual workers. Had to call in specialists and special equipment. Must cost a fortune but they all got built.
not really, i am not sure other than the police, the law to get them out, this sounds like a cock up from the word go, the BTP knew there was a tunnel, yet said its up to the Met to do something about it. That smacks of passing the buck.
But it costs you a lot of money, I♥marge, and is ultimately futile.
Even if they were successful, on 2 of my jobs they'd have just stopped desperately needed by-passes being built. They'd all up sticks and head to another one and leave the locals stuck in 2 hour traffic jams.
lets hope the baliffs can do something, looking at the tunnel, which took some building, they are firmly wedged in there. I hope this has a peaceful outcome.
HS2. A useless and inordinately expensive vanity project, set to destroy acres of ancient woodland for no tangible gain. There are definitely morons involved, but they are not in the tunnel.
