Frankly If you live here and you are not proud to be British, why do you live here? Live where you do like, very simple. If I was not proud to live here I would not. I wouldn't whine like jumbo jet every 5 minutes, what is wrong with people?

TTT......LOL.

I admit I came back to the UK to avail myself of the NHS.
I will cease slagging off the NHS.
In fairness to Sqad, at the time he did explain on here why he had returned to the UK and it was nothing to do with the NHS.
TTT - // in UK, if you get hit by a truck, we'll scrape you off the road, fix you ans and questions later. That is the mark of a civilised country. It only happens in about 5 countries on earth. In the rest, EUSSR, US etc they are more concerned with bureaucracy, thank you Mr Atlee, the only Labour politician worth a J arthur. //

It's perhaps a big ask to expect you to list all the 'barbaric' countries whose health systems you have sufficient knowledge of to comment with such bluster - how about the five which you appear to approve of?

Just so i can take you seriously you understand ...
‘ That reply tells me that, as usual, I don't care what you think about what I post.’

Jesus, You really are childish, Andy. You get caught out more times than a carp in a pond. Luckily people throw you back but, Christ, there’s a limit.
TTT - // I want him to a) stop slagging off the NHS ... //

Since sqad has thirty years more direct experience of the NHS than you or I, I would suggest that he is somewhat better place to comment about it, even if his comments are negative.

// and b) admit that's why he came back from "paradise". //

Well since he has told you several times that it is not the reason - just the reason you want it to be - then you are going to wait a while I would imagine.

I simply do not believe him. Why would an Anti Brit come back from Utopia?
About the same length of time we’ll await for you to grow up.

"It's perhaps a big ask to expect you to list all the 'barbaric' countries whose health systems you have sufficient knowledge of to comment with such bluster - how about the five which you appear to approve o" - well all of US and EUSSR for a start, I have friends who nearly died in thailand for lack of a peice of paper. The 5? yes you have me there actually I know of only 3 for certain but I said 5 because I thought there must be more. UK, Canada, Cuba....
Tora, if you don't believe him, then surely that is entirely your problem, and no one on here can help you with it - maybe best to let it go?
You are in danger of stepping out of line, Tora. As I have said, Sqad explained clearly why he had returned and it had absolutely nothing to do with the NHS but a reverse in personal circumstances. It is not for me to provide his explanation, that is his prerogative.
I’m afraid I have to agree. There is zero evidence (quite the contrary) that Sqad returned because of the NHS. If you’re unable to find proof, then I’m afraid you seem to be at a disadvantage.
Tonight Matthew, I'm going to be passive/aggressive.
I tend to be proud of things I've achieved. Being born here wasn't an achievement.

Am I glad to have been born here?, yes.
