I wonder if they will have to relinquish the Sussex title too? I hope so.

danny...OK.
He certainly had his head turned when he met Meghan. I feel that she's calling the shots now and that a few years down the line Harry will come to regret this and I also don't think the marriage will go the distance.
Dave // I also don't think the marriage will go the distance.//
It has already gone further than many on here were predicting.
I've always felt that Megan is the one who 'wears the trousers' in this relationship, and she is the one who seems to have had a vision of what she wants in life and Harry has gone along with it. Perhaps he didn't foresee how it would all end, and perhaps he has regrets. Only time will tell if he has burnt his bridges with the Royals.
Mrs Simpson wasn't all that keen on marrying Edward by all accounts, but she did & it lasted.
How many medals did he, earn ???
I don't know if you can see this, gulliver

Whether Granny will want his Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal back, I couldn't say.
Here for a start Gulliver

Prince Harry served in the Army for ten years, rising to the rank of Captain and undertaking two tours of Afghanistan
I think it was 3 medals he had earned.
tbh, Bobbi, though that is a start it is also the end.
Maybe jno and I really couldn't care less about someone who's let his Queen and country down but he did see active service
The whole monarchy will become irrelevant to all but a very few people in England when the Queen sadly passes on so they are doing the right thing getting out now. Rather like being one of the first to leave a company that's going bust in a few years.
His medals are safe, as is his dukedom. He has done nothing to be deprived of them. He is not the only royal not to undertake public duties; Prince and Princess Michael of Kent do not. To me that is fine as long as they are not subsidised from the public purse.
He served in the military, but he's let his country down? You got to laugh or cry at that one.
Archibaldy, you might be mistaken there, when the Queen goes i would hope William would take the title of King although protocol might have it that Charles must, only there, I don't think many would want Camilla as his consort but I do think the Monarchy will carry on , I really hope it does
jackdaw. They are not working royals, but sometimes appear at royal events and represent the Queen on occasion. Prince Michael of Kent and his family do not receive public funds, but they are still close relatives of the Queen and attend royal celebrations from time to time.
Teacake .....with a gap in between dear :0)
Hand on heart I honestly think that if Harry had been a typical guy on the street she wouldn’t have looked twice at him.
bobbi theres not much point in having a hereditary institution if you can just skip people you don't like
anyway this news will be the cue for loads of people people who wish they'd just go away and stay quiet to make sure they are talked about and not go away
Smow I agree with you and if they keep courting the media and dragging our Royal family down, they'll always be in the limelight which is no doubt what Meghan wants
