Round here, no one is allowed in to see patients unless they are near dying.

The King Edward hospital's website says visitors will only be considered in 'exceptional circumstances'.

Being royal is probably considered exceptional. That said, just a few nights in hospital for rest and observation, as was reported, don't seem to justify a visit. Perhaps it doesn't bode well.

bookbinder, when he went in they did say he wouldn't be having visitors. I think people are concerned - that's all.

Wouldn't the Queen visit though if it was serious ? When he was admitted he actually walked in himself, so can't be that bad, hopefully.
