Jens still in hospital and looks like she will remain there for the next 10 - 14 days. She's ended up having quite a major op, involving making incision from her groin to just above her foot to expose artery / vein, which ever it is to see what's going on. All OK physically now, just healing will take some time. Hospital are saying they are pleased with physical progress, but are becoming concerned about her mental state. Are going to try and arrange a CT scan to see if that shows up anything.
Morning Tony. Always good to see you mate. Thanks for the update re Jen. That's good news, They are finally taking things seriously. Wonderful. Jen is in the best place mate. She will get all the care and attention she needs, she will also be pleased to see you at visiting times! The CT scan should get things moving in the right direction.
I know Jen is in the right place, convincing her of that is proving to be quite difficult. She has a 3 bed ward all to herself, which doesn't worry her, shes got plenty of reading material. Staffing levels on her ward are 10 nurses to 9 patients at the moment which ensures good care. Getting some safety equipment installed, some grab rails next week and a bed rail (to aid getting in and out of bed) today.
