I'm sorry Spungle, I didn't use any long words, I thought it was fairly straight forward to follow.

Neither you or I know what happens behind the scenes of all the pomp and pageantry of a rpyal wedding. For all either of us know, it might be standard practice to exchange vows and sign the wedding license in advance of the actual ceremony. I can't imagine it's something they only did for Harry and Meghan.

think back to yr law course, and the 1752 Marriage Act which splat the religious ( here, nil they had blessings as she was already had a husband) and the civil - scribble scribble scribble and alll that

and her acct is consistent - civil in the garding and then the blessings in the chapel and all the ra-ra-ra the people of england wanted nay - demanded !

What or who is the common denominator here, a huge fall out with her family. Her father, who she was very close too, wasn't invited to the wedding. Claims of bullying by Royal staff and slagging off the Royal Family. Selling her soul for the $ after initially saying she wanted more privacy!
My dad always said to me at times like this, it will all end in tears, it surely will, what will happen to Harry when it dawns on him what she has done to him and his family, damage is done now, typical Hollywood actress, me me me, she is treating it all like a reality TV show, shame on her!

They should not respond, but I fear they will. Actually as Andy Hughes says, the institution will, rather than the family.

That is the whole problem I think. The family are just puppets. They should be stepping up to take control of their own lives but they don't know how.
