I've never raped a woman.

I've also never murdered a woman, abused a woman or harassed a woman.

None of those things have ever entered my mind, but it turns out I have the "potential" to do all of those things and I should be feared.

Never mind though, I can't go to a non-essential shop or a pub because I will start a zombie apocalypse, but if I was in possession of a vagina, I could go to a completely non-socially distanced vigil.

Am I the only one that is a little offended by how my sex is being defined?

As a man, and like all men, I hate women and feel they deserve all they get (I must remember to to tell my wife this, who is the absolute love of my life, and my 17 year old daughter, who is the centre of my universe).

I am reminded of the problem all the time. When walking on a quiet street, and when there's a woman in front of me, I hold back in case she fears I'm in some way threatening, particularly when it's getting dark. Or perhaps I'll cross the street. Shame, but I'll keep on doing it.

Quite Paigntonion - but here's the thing, the vast vast vast vast majority of men don't commit any crimes, let alone sexual crimes, but bizarrely were being putting in to the category that we potentially could. If you're a bloke you should find that offensive.

Fortunately, most sensible females, and female writers, know that the vast majority of men aren't predators.

Well said, Hopkirk. DD, I don't think anyone has ever suggested "all men"... but by assuming that all women should feel safe walking past you, without knowing you... you are actually suggesting "no men". The point is, we don't know.
