Prince Harry Has A Job.
Prince Harry has a job as a Chief Impact Officer at a mental health company.
Wonder if he told them he was embarrassed to speak to anyone about his own wife's mental health.

In the Oprah interview, He talked about how although he was embarrassed to admit it (which a lot of people are) he went to his royal relatives for help and how he pushed past those feelings because her health was more important. This was in addition to openly talking about his own mental health issues.
I'm pretty sure that when they did the interview, Harry said he was embarrassed to tell anyone about his wife's mental illness and felt that he couldn't be of help to her really, so it seems strange to me that he has been offered a job as Chief Impact Officer with a mental health company.
I am actually pleased he seems to have got a proper job so he can now support his family instead of expecting money from his Father.

'Harry said he was embarrassed to tell anyone about his wife's mental illness and felt that he couldn't be of help to her really'
He didn't say that, exactly. He said he'd found it difficult but had pushed thru these feelings and talked to members of his family.
You were clearly having an unjustified dig.

Zacs, you remember differently to me. All I remember thinking was that as Harry was involved in mental health here, he would have known who to go to for help. If he got this job in America, he must have some qualifications on the subject and he would have known that Meghan wouldn't get any help from Human Resources at the palace.
Barsel, the actual quote is:
'I had three conversations with my grandmother, and two conversations with my father before he stopped taking my calls. And then he said: “Can you put this all in writing?”
By that point I took matters into my own hands. It was like, I needed to do this for my family. This is not a surprise to anybody. It’s really sad that it’s got to this point, but I’ve got to do something for my own mental health, my wife’s and for Archie’s as well.'

Barsel, I shouldn’t think he has qualifications on the subject -people with his pedigree don’t need qualifications to get a job - and you can guarantee he didnt get booted and suited to attend an interview with others on a short list. It won’t be a 9 to 5 job but a prestigious name on the letterhead never goes amiss. A step in the right direction towards them building an independent life.
Zacs, I wasn't referring to that conversation. It was when Oprah asked Harry, 'Did you tell anyone in the family you need to get help for her?' Harry replied, 'That's not a conversation that would be had. 'Oprah asked 'Why?' and Harry replied,' I guess I was ashamed of admitting it to them. I didn't have anyone to turn to.'
So he didn't say embarrassed, he said ashamed. I just thought it strange that he said he didn't have anyone he could turn to as I'm sure he would have had treatment for his own depression.
