//...an authoritarian law which effectively gives the uk govt to take away the sacred right to protest if they feel like it// Alas that "sacred right" (which is actually certainly not sacred and very often, in the way the protests are organised, not a right) often involves curtailing the freedoms of many more people trying to go about their lawful business....
mamy: "In what way are the protesters inciting mass murder? " - are you serious? Do you think that having a march carrying a giant sign saying "Kill the bill" and chanting the same message continually is not an incitement to murder (kill) police officers (the Bill), seriously mamy?
The message was undoubtedly deliberately ambiguous - youngsters showing off how clever and 'hard' they are. I expect only a tiny minority would seriously want to kill anyone, and there's always unfortunately a tiny minority of nasties in society.
TBF Andy it was other Kill the bill "protests" that made me think that, you know injuring police officers, burning police cars, attacking police etc. I think one could be forgiven for thinking the target here was the police.
@15.05."unfortunately a tiny minority of nasties in society".Why is Jeremy Corbyn or his less idiotic brother always involved with these"tiny minorities"?
