Covid And Tenancies

There is a big problem with one of our neighbours. In the last two months she has been charged with GBH against a woman, due in court soon, and with GBH against a second female victim outside her home. Talked to her landlord. Transpires that she has been served an eviction order but, because of Covid, he can't throw her out until October. That's not something I was previously aware of. We're all looking to see the back of the creature and guess we'll just have to wait.

you are stuck - they designed the system like this ( no one on the street) and my neighbours - +++++ manchester, are dossing and dealing and everyone is stuck with them

I routinely get a guarantor now, and say to THEM - if you get them out I wont come after YOU for rent arrears and by god they get the bit between their teeth.

Where have all these low life scummy come from? The degenerate, use and abuse element part of society seems to have proliferated. What happened to mutual respect and politeness? Our environment seems to be debased by these appalling creatures.

A lot of tenants are using the Covid no eviction law ,to not pay rent, and getting away with it.
