why this hatred of someone you don't know, couldn't care less about in the grand scheme of things, seems strange that you have latched onto him of all people. You have confessed more than once you don't live here, so how does British politics affect you, it shouldn't i guess but you are obsessed with it. very odd.
gully: "YMB @ 14.00, The Tories have not got a "small leadership problem", as you say" - there may be issues at the top of the party fair enough but even if they elected Basil Brush they'd still kick the sheet out of Labour me old china. If I was you I'd start looking at where the 4th labour leader to win an election is coming from. If labour do not win in 2024 that will be half a century without winning a GE! ...and the Tories with an 80 seat majority with a few whipped up issues are in trouble?? PMSL!

we have local elections coming up that's going to be a test of whether Boris and the tories have large scale support. I know with some certainty, that London by and large doesn't support the tories, though why is anyone's guess, considering how many well to do folk live here. its the hub of the country's finance district.
davebro: "It was all to do with the stitch up between Blair & Brown. If David Milliband had taken over from Blair Labour would have stood a better chance. Water under the bridge." - yes David M was their best choice after Bottler but just like Labour they burgered it up and ended up with his commie Brother, oh dear!
