Apparently the PM is planning a campaign to allow Brits to visit Germany.
Which seems equally questionable.
To (almost) quote Dominic Behan:

That is strictly speaking true, however to all intents and purposes they pretty much are one and the same. And for now at least we are pretty isolated, not just because of the sea. While Germany is the most powerful country however they can’t force this on the rest of the EU and it seems pretty unlikely to succeed.
