Freedom day should have marked the start of a economic recovery, but no, we have hammered a new nail through our foot. Turn the kin thing off NOW! Does anyone support the "pingdemic"? All it's done is create a method of bunking off work. Surely the government can see it serves no purpose. What was the purpose of the vaccine if we still carry on like there isn't one?

“ the app is fine, it is performing its function as designed” Yes fair comment. What is rubbish is the fact that the govt didn’t anticipate this situation. And is now not acting decisively to deal with it. In fact worse, sending out confused messages

It is absurd that if I, as an office worker were pinged (if I had the app), I'd have to isolate, but if I worked in Tesco and were pinged, I wouldn't have to isolate.

It is utterly farcical.

Hopefully, those that have used it as an excuse to enjoy the sun this week will be back at work next week, as I believe the weather is not going to be quite as nice.
Looks like Boris is losing his popularity even on Answer Bank , Not long to go now Boris before the men in grey suits appear.
What part of I like the man DONT you understand ?
Stop seeing yourself with excitement silly man , Boris is as popular as ever
*weeing*
I'm not sure you're right about Boris's popularity, Bobbi. I've seen various reprorts that criticise him for his handling of the pandemic, eg, lacking leadership, easily led, hasty etc. At the moment I think he's at a crossroads and waiting to see which way to go. And if it's him that will decide, or, will it be the Chuckle Brothers, Whitty and Valance? I fancy his next move will be more critical than any that has gone before. We'll see.
12.09 I wouldn't see on him if he was on fire
10c when you look at the shower of *** who sit opposite him in the Commons, He’s ‘very ‘ popular
No way will Boris last the full term . End of
A bit strong to say that, Bobbi but I don't think Labour have been any decent sort of opposition to Johnson during the pandemic. On both sides, Tory and Labour, no-one seems to have been seeking an alternative and have just been led by the nose by the Chuckle Brothers.
I tend to agree with that 10c, it beggars belief in the midst of something so unprecedented that the two sides can’t work as one
Just give Boris a little more rope. It's not if, but when.
Why should the opposition help the horrible little man.
He's between a rock and a hard place.

Since the first lockdown my OH has had 1 week off work due to the firm getting in extra vehicles and cleaning supplies, masks etc.

Surely firms know their staff well enough to know who is taking advantage of track and trace.

We don't have the app anyway.

ummmm// you know you come across as quite a nasty person.//
He can't help it, he is totally consumed by his obsession with Boris.
Bobbi, why do you bother to argue with Gulliver? He doesn't mind making himself look a fool so let him carry on.
True Naomi ;0)

Gulliver - I haven't got hatred in my heart like you appear to have. And I'm not nasty to people or about people.
