To apply.... you need to claim your are a woman (magic words, which change everything)//

Nope. What's up with you, today, TTT??? Transsexuals are "protected" so are women.
To be in the Olympics... you need no operations whatsoever.
I don't even agree that intersex males should be allowed to compete against women. They have fought for years and started, so they can compete against each other.
What's wrong with you? Lol

//Borderline hate crime I thinks.//
I thinks not. As much as the police and other agencies would like you to believe, having an opinion on matters such as this, which is not "on message", and stating it does not constitute a "hate crime." This issue will be discussed more deeply as soon as women begin to get regularly beaten in sporting competitions by men posing as women, as they are sure to do. Attempting to close the debate down by suggesting that firmly held contrary opinion constitutes a crime will not help.
The answer to this is quite simple. Competitors in sporting events should only be allowed to compete against members of the sex they were born as. The numbers of "transgender" people who will be unfortunately affected by this will be miniscule but it's simply hard luck.

While I agree, nj... I don't imagine many people would object to them having their spaces?
The clear problem at the moment, is that girls and women are training exceptionally hard throughout their lives and making sacrifices, to be beaten by a man.
I can't see how anybody, with any empathy (or female friends or relatives) can condone this.

Grow up. Fgs. No it doesn't. Men are 98.5% more likely to commit sexual crimes and commit over 90% of violent crimes. Nearly all against females.
Transsexuals and transgender, have the same numbers.
They are no more- and no less- likely to be dangerous to women. Its the same as allowing men into female safe spaces, statistically. And we are entitled not to have to.
