I wonder what the main reason for the gas crisis is?

“Supply from Russia has dried up”
Six little words that mean so much.
If there’s an ulterior motive there it’s a dangerous gamble for both sides:
“Support Nord Stream” and ease your worries.
Or “put all your eggs in the blackmailer’s basket”
Ironically, the charge the government plans to put on energy bills will in the long run ease the pain of moving away from gas altogether.
It’s a very unpopular time to be making such a move, because of the frightfully (in)convenient timing …

I don’t care about cookers but I must admit I prefer a gas hob.

However the way if it is they’ll eventually be phased out. It won’t happen any time soon tho I fancy

I have no idea if there is a winter of discontent ahead but there sure are reasons to think life could get quite tough in the coming months.
