You said that about Covid vaccines Boris ...but the UK now have the highest number of Covid cases in
Western Europe.

bobb, we were leaders in vaccines (unlike many countries, we make one, which helped), but we've fallen behind much of Europe, which is disturbing. How have we lost that lead?

The UK Government were really crap at the beginning of Covid. They sent vulnerable people with Covid back into care homes without any PPE and 100,000 died.
Utter disgrace but ‘loveable Boris’ will get away with that incompetence.

What happened, much as I prefer him to any other choice, is that Boris was exceptionally slow in responding, or stopping people entering, what is basically a small island. Vaccine rollout was great, just very late by that point. People "were" sent back to care homes, having been given covid on the way. And he is now destroying them further, by attempting mandatory vaccines, for one set of staff, only- who will all move to NHS work, where it isn't "necessary".
I'm sure there are.... reasons... just cannot imagine what.

Instant success. In the summer deaths were almost nil, and cases were low. The Government ended all restrictions and advice. But now everything is going in the wrong direction - Deaths, Hospitalisations and cases all going in the wrong direction.

Are you talking about lower vax rate now or higher infection rates or death rates now. I thought I'd answered second so do you mean vax rates.? If so its due to slow take up/hesitancy./ anti vaxers not availability. And because our % figures now include 12 -18 which started much later than usa Europe etc.
Some countrys make vax compulsory for state jobs, University etc. We tolerate refusal accepting freedom of choice.

Except that secondary school age children have the highest infection rate, so the most socialising, have no safety measures in schools and slow roll out of vaccines to that age group. I'd say they are a pretty big risk.
