Sorry for putting this in news but I think this needs to put out there, would Tesco rename other religious festivals from other minorities, instead of happy Ramadan, how about happy starving.

Tesco is in the business of making money and will cast its net as widely as possibly. you never say happy ramadan
the big blow out at the end is eid al-fitr and I cant recollect anyone saying eid al fitr mubarak ( mubarak - blessed)

Other greetings you can use (in English or Arabic) include: Eid Mubarak lakum wa-li-'a'ilatakum – Blessed Eid to you and your family. Litanzil 'alaykum barakat Allah fi Eid al-Fitr hatha – May God's blessings be showered on you on this Eid al-Fitr. ... Eid Mubarak – May you celebrate this every year.
I note they are using lakum - 2nd plur, and one is leik - there is no vous-tu divide in arabic
