ici; I don't think the idea is to have a war, but to show some bottle (as Margaret T. did) & not be pushed around by the likes of Macron & Biden. The former should who go away & write a self-help book for teenage boys called, 'How to Seduce your Schoolteacher' & the latter should just go away before he drops into a state of non-cognitive fuzzlement.

I agree that France and the UK need heads banging together but diplomacy is the way.
I don’t honestly feel that the UK at least has been all that clever in that regard whatever one may feel about the French
And Boris Johnson’s jokey jingoism may be amusing and intended to be harmless but sometimes you need to see how that goes down with others

ahh the french who do not follow rules, but expect others to..farmers fishermen blockades etc, peasants still running the country, as for the insulate britain...full charge with battons, do what the spanish police do... rights are all good and well, but bringing the country or roads to a standstill...i don't think so, becoming a country of pacifists marauders anarchists, and don't say anything less you upset some oddball minority group, either religious some other fanatical nutjobs.

It seems the French (particularly) want to fish etc on the same terms they had before Brexit but the EU is not willing to extend such courtesies to the UK. Sod 'em.
