As much as I like Boris I think that now is the time for him to step down before more damage is done to the government and the Tory party.

Are the Blinkers getting a little worn out , is the light in the tunnel fading
or do you need a radicalisation booster jab.???
And you take the word of the Daily Fail as gospel?
Be careful what you wish for.

Lankeela. The Mail is only reporting the facts of what is happening today. No, I don't take the Mail, or any other newspaper, as gospel.
You think!
I can't see it somehow.
Why would he do that? He would only go if he was pushed. As long as the Tories think they can win an election with him they will keep him, and with an 80-seat majority they are likely to feel comparatively safe no matter who is the leader.
That's not to say he isn't a hopeless disgrace as PM, but we knew that anyway.
Who will be standing in for Boris Today ..........JRM ?.. LOL
If the PM resigned every time his government makes a mistake it'd be an ever-revolving door. Best thing for him to do would be to say, look, we got it wrong, and move forward with a positive agenda.
As much as I dislike Boris and I feel he is not right for the UK, I don't actually believe there is an alternative.
Jacob RM is frightening in his beliefs towards women and their bodies.
What does JRM believe about women and their bodies?
The abortion laws to begin with
I would presume RH is referring to JRM's anti-abortion beliefs. In my opinion JRM would make a much better PM than Boris.
I believe everyone is entitled to their opinion APG unlike many others on this site.
Ah, yes, RH. A devout Roman Catholic.
I personally don't believe that an individuals personal religious beliefs should come into running a country.
I am not Catholic and would not want a PM to force his religious beliefs on me.
How would you feel about someone with no religion but the same opinion running the country? Is it possible to make a decision based upon one aspect of an individual's opinion?
It's not just one mistake, tho, is it. It's the latest in a succession of incidents where he has tried to undermine the independent judgments of bodies that have found serious examples of misconduct: Priti Patel, Robert Jenrick, Owen Paterson most obviously.
Of course there are other things he has done which in the opinion of many is undermining this country's reputation in the world and in Europe, but presumably he actually believes he is doing the right thing there so he isn't going to resign over those.
Its not just his views on abortion I have issues with.
RH // I believe everyone is entitled to their opinion APG unlike many others on this site.//

Did I say they weren't? I was merely explaining to Naomi what you were perhaps referring to.
