Just watched a News clip of Boris visiting a Hospital in the North East.He was shown talking to staff who were all wearing masks.Was he wearing one? Of course not ,what a prat.

Masks are pretty useless for visitors unless you are going to get real close to someone. And even then they wont stop Covid if thats your angle.

I think he should wear a mask out of respect for the nurses and doctors working in the NHS that have no choice. Its a small gesture.

In England, the legal requirement to wear a face covering ended on 19 July, apart from in healthcare settings and care homes.

So masks SHOULD be worn in hospitals. The clue is, everyone else wearing them.

We are told over and over again that masks don't protect the wearer, but protect others. The more complex masks worn by those who are working with Covid patients are obviously more protective for the wearer.

Get it in context- when he was with patients and witnessing covid jabs, he wore a mask. He took it off to speak to nurses. Some would argue he was a prat for wearing one at all. But don't let facts get in the way of your opinions.

Wearing a mask in hospital is the Government's rule.
As head of the Government he should know what his own advice says.

He shouldn't take it off at all. He is in a healthcare environment where Mask wearing rules still apply.
