How can one be "diverse".
You are what you are are. I note that both those mentioned are white. There's not much they can do about that. Sir Winston Churchill has been dead for 56 years and there's little to be done about his attributes or views. J K Rowling has views on transgender issues with which many agree. Presumably to be seen as "diverse" she has to change those opinions.
It's a complete joke and those propounding such actions are likely to be ridiculed.

Danny: I am not looking for an argument as you can hardly argue that Rowling IS an historical figure .
Maybe the Head Teacher just wanted to make the house names more relevant to primary school children in 2021?....But the ' Daily Mail Gammons' have to have their daily outrage so fill yer boots as they say.

//Schools having 'House Names' ( when clearly they are not boarding schools therefore dont have 'houses').//
You misunderstand, Auntie. "Houses" do not refer to buildings.
It is quite true that the term originated in boarding schools where the pupils were accommodated in "boarding houses". However it became apparent that the "house" philosophy enabled the school to perform the functions with which they were charged when "in loco parentis". It is easier to administer care to a smaller group. This practice extended first to public, non-boarding schools and later to state schools.
I went to an excellent (non-boarding) school which operated a house system and I can tell you it benefitted all the pupils greatly.
