Perhaps the school can give lessons in tax avoidance.

They could rename the school houses Cant, Want, Rant, and Pant Webbo. All the kids can fit in anywhere then after the place has done with them.
Do you pay more tax than you should then webbo? Surely it's up to everyone to lower their tax burden
bednobs //my 9YO has just completed a school project about mary seacole - she has definitely heard about her//

Bet she was taught the usual pack of lies about her being a nurse, Lol.
I’d never heard of her until a few years ago when the woke brigade dug her up as a rival to Florence Nightingale. She wasn’t.
Another myth. Canadians are famous for being polite, eh.
St Marcus Rashford. Lol. Never handed tuppence of his own money to charidee. Must be quite interesting to believe any old botox you stumble upon (with a little help from google?)
so what did you google to be told that Rashford has never donated to charity, hm? Link please.
Whenever Marxists, malcontents and recent arrivals take a sledgehammer to fine old British traditions, OUR National heroes, etc, they say without fail 'What are you getting all excited about, it's only a couple of words. Doesn't make any difference to you'.
But it's you who insist on changing things. If a couple of words/names shouldn't bother us, they shouldn't bother you, should they?
I struggle to recognise the country I was brought up in and some of us know only too well, you people won't be content until you've destroyed every last vestige of that country.
Should be BA , Spicey. It's all true.
still waiting for that link, spicerack, if you can take time off from whingeing
Who's this Rashrord' regerd.
While he shouldn't be lauded quite the way he is, with, as Spicey suggested, a little help from Google, I found this.

https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/other/marcus-rashford-has-donated-125percent-of-his-wealth-and-is-uks-top-charity-donor/ar-AAMoOCy

£20 million apparently. A bit more than tuppence.
Donated 125% of his wealth?

Must be carrying quite some debt.

He has raised a lot of money for worthy causes and deserves recognition for his efforts.

Reckon Spiceys point is his philanthropy isn't from his own pocket.
I did wonder how that worked too Ozzy. I guessed it was probably how much much he has now after his donations.

I agree, he should be applauded for his efforts, although I do think some of the adulation he gets is over the top.
From what I've been able to find Mozz he hasn't donated a penny of his own money, but, he's put a lot of time and effort into raising money for those that need it.

That in itself deserves some recognition.
That does make sense Oz, and I agree.
Spicerack. I couldn't agree with you more.
