erm Germanic innit
and recalls J M Keynes - we are all dead in the long run
also recalls the standard ( 'simple' but perhaps not for Abers hur hur hur) EIR model for covid - free pools, eligible, infected, recovered
eligible leads to infected at a rate, infected leads to recovered
and you set up time equations ( hey Dr Who-ey innit). It allows you to model surprisingly accurately. ( infected pool depends on the susceptible numbers AND the no of infected, which makes it non linear)
ALSO implies that vaccinated is 100% which we know is not
AND ignores the differential effects of vaccine

yes ! eader a second post because I fear it may ALL be too MUCH for the average ABer
now my dears - if the vaccine has broken the link between olds, infection and the olds DDDDIIIIIIIEEEE!
hten why are the locking down in Europe?
coz They are froggies and huns - yes but that is not why
coz they are cheese eating surrender monkeys and clowns - yes but THAT is not the reason why
coz TTT has been there(Europe) and it is AWFUL, terrible place - yes indeed but THAT is not the reason why
the olds are still dying
and everyone knows the olds died in England because the health system there is crap and this would never happen in France.German.Netherlands. which has much much better health systems
( Choose one)
and they are now saying that the vacca we got gives better ( T cell ) immunity - and has led to better survival here
not expected at all. The one that kills teenagers? yup, the one Americans wont have? yup. The one that only we licensed? yup
is better and not worse? yup.
Betcha didnt spot that..... Hack on radio 4 completely at sea on this one. 'T cell' seemed to induce epilepsy or uncontrollable shaking

I heard an interesting piece on Radio Four yesterday, that advises that there is something deep in the Germanic psyche (and that includes the surrounding countries) that deeply mistrusts and fears vaccinations.
Apparently it dates back to the Nazi era, and modern Germans still fight shy of vaccines - hence the reluctance for such large sections of the nation to embrace vaccination, and the resultant rampant infection rates.
We, as one of the highest per capita vaccinated nations in the word, are steadily moving away from the grip of the pandemic.

yeah but no but
the natural history is different in the nations with vacca over 60%
as for ventilation beds
no great pressure in the UK ( broken link etc)
Johnny Foreigner - all the patients we have who are ventilated with covid are unvaccinated. But because the hacks are so at sea with this, we arent told how many

// modern Germans still fight shy of vaccines - hence the reluctance for such large sections of the nation to embrace vaccination, and the resultant rampant infection rates. //
Germany has vaccinated more people than the UK. It has vaccinated 67.7% of its population. The UK vac rate is 68.1% which is a very insignificant difference.
