Years ago, a fat woman and her skinny husband were walking home from the pub in Blaenavon. She fell over in the snow and couldn't get up. Her husband couldn't lift her so went home 'to put some fire in a bucket' and bring it out to her.
Anyway, she froze to death. I think the husband was cleared of blame although he fell asleep when he got in (before or after taking her a 'bucket of fire')
Strange days, strange place. I hear it's all gentrified up there now.
