I know a few people who refuse to be vaccinated and I doubt a knock at the door will change that. There is no point in trying to persuade them. One of my mates said that her brother couldn't spend Christmas day with her as he and his family had covid despite having been triple jabbed. I tried to explain that vaccinated people can still get covid but they are less...

I’ve ignored nothing, gness.
There are two issues here: those who want the vaccination but have difficulty getting to a vaccination clinic and those who don’t want the vaccine. The latter far outnumber the former. I can’t imagine there are too many people who really want the vaccine but have been unable to get it either by making an effort themselves or with the help of others. It is telling that in the government’s press release those people have been added almost as an afterthought:
“The tactic would also help encourage people who may want to get jabbed but who don't have easy access to vaccine centres.”
The primary aim of this proposal is to visit Covid vaccination “refusniks”. Far better to simply contact them and just ask “Do you want a jab or not?” If they don’t want it, nothing anyone does will persuade them. But the government should make sure that they no longer receive priority medical treatment should they contract the virus so as to make sure that the hospital beds they are currently occupying are freed up for people who are suffering from other conditions over which they have no control. It will also help ensure that the rest of us are not continually threatened with restrictions on our fundamental freedoms which are in perpetual danger of being withdrawn.

Keep your clot shots to yourself.
So many people have been disabled through this.
Thrombosis/clots
Neurological damage
Death
(interesting that the news downplays these results)
And no comebacks on vaccinne providers.
Never before in history has there been an experimental drug thrust on the populace of the world.

They should not be spending what they do have visiting the houses of people who have no intention of taking the vaccine.
Tiny flaw there
This country being what it is it means that even though they refuse the vaccine they must still be treated if they attend a & e
Until that is reversed or stopped then I believe the nhs probably feel they must do all they can
It is wrong but atm the nhs has no choice I feel
The alternative is that those unvaccinated who do begin to struggle to breathe stay at home and stand by their convictions but being the hypocrites they are they will not

As asked for the other day
Provide links and evidence to the ‘so many’ that have died in contrast to the millions saved so far by the vaccine
Or will you run and hide again like you did the other day when you had absolutely no argument or empirical evidence to back up your wildly inaccurate and misleading claims ?

I even did some research the other day to look into your ridiculous claims.
Apparently there have been 9 deaths following a vaccine being administered
Before you get carried away that is 9 in 17 million doses given
That is 0.00005924 percent
Nothing is 100 percent foolproof and those 9 were unlucky
I wonder how many millions have been saved as a result of the vaccine ?
As I have said earlier if you are unlucky enough to contract covid then do not trouble the nhs
Stay put and stand by your conviction
It will be the one decent thing you can do

Unfortunately there's an equally tiny flaw with that strategy as well.
As I explained in an earlier question, I have a neighbour who is in urgent need of heart surgery. If she does not have it by the coming summer there is a very good chance she will die. It was planned for last October then postponed until December. Now it has been postponed indefinitely. She often (increasingly more often) struggles to breathe. She cannot be admitted to hospital because there is little spare capacity. Any there is is being ring fenced for the expected surge of Covid patients. Many of the Covid patients already there are unvaccinated and there is very probability that if they had been jabbed they would not be there. So why should my neighbour (who, despite her health problems, has managed to secure three Covid jabs) have less priority on a hospital bed than people who have declined a treatment which, almost certainly, would keep 90% of them out of hospital? It seems the best thing she can do is contract Covid and hope that her symptoms are serious enough for her to need hospitalisation. Hopefully whilst she's in dock they will sort her heart problem out for her as well.

I'm not saying the the vaccine hasn't caused some deaths and illnesses, but the numbers as it currently stands are miniscule.
