The anti-vaxxers refuse the vaccine, but not the treatment when the inevitable consequences arise - hypocrisy rules OK.

Maybe spicerack... or maybe it'll help focus there minds on the issue. Maybe a better system though would be compulsory tests and maybe reduce Sick Pay for prolonged covid absences if unvaxxed

We may not be “turning them away” when they are scraped up off the street. But, as I have explained more than once, we are delaying vital treatment for the chronically sick which may, in many cases, have just the same result. “Who do we allow to die?” Anybody who hasn’t got Covid but who can – for the moment - still stand up.

Refusing the vaccine is not a “mistake”, dave. It is a deliberate, calculated decision usually maintained over a long period. It may turn out to be the wrong decision, but it is not a “mistake” like changing lanes on a motorway when another vehicle is in your blind spot.

Same with drinkers and treatment for liver disease, smokers and lung and heart disease. We can't afford to set that precedent no matter how extreme the problem and how strong the public demand

Newjudge ...there's delaying less urgent things and prioritising most urgent which are often covid....but what's your suggestion....don't treat covid patients or only treat the vaccinated ones?
The only way to get cancer treatment etc back on track is to tackle the covid and slow down its spread... and by isolating when positive and keeping vaccines up to date. Hopefully in time the unvaxxed will reduce in number but I fear the vaxxed may get weary of boosters

Walk in in my area are in and out in 2 minutes

Pretty sure I can spare that every 3 months
I spend 20-30 giving blood every 3-4 months so 2 minutes will not be an inconvenience
It is more than likely going to become the norm like seasonal flu so may as well get used to the idea

What concerns me is the ideology and conspiracy theorist misinformation of a minority who as I have said have refused a medicine that will greatly reduce their odds of ending up in hospital

If you do not trust this medicine then it is best that you do not avail yourself of the others on offer either as you really do not know what they are pumping into you do you ?

You chose to decline the offer of a vaccine on multiple occasions so you should not retrospectively use any other medicines to combat your symptoms
