Given his close friendship with Mr Epstein, and his even closer relationship with Ms Maxwell, I find it hard to believe his assertion that he saw nothing improper and knew nothing of any inappropriate or illegal behaviour.
Of course no-one will ever be able to prove anything, but of course, we all have our own opinions, and continue to express them on here.

roy, I don't know - but I wouldn't be surprised - although being the thicko he is, whether or not he understood the implications of it all is a matter of conjecture. Continuing his close association with the pair of them after Epstein's 'hobby' came to light in itself is bizarre for a man in his position. At the very least he has to be seriously stupid.

I think that was pretty much taken as read from when he became a teenager onwards.
And if it wasn't, there is plenty of evidence in the Newsnight interview.
It's clear that years of arrogant boorish behaviour has left PA with next to no credit in the bank of public opinion, and there are plenty of people who would love to see him brought low by his utter inability to understand that the rules of common decency, not to say the laws of the land, actually do apply to him as well.

Well he certainly did when he went to stay with him for three days in 2010. From the Maitlis interview ...

> Prince Andrew admitted to staying in Epstein's mansion for three days in 2010, after Epstein's conviction for sex offences against a minor, describing the location as "a convenient place to stay". However, he said, "I kick myself on a daily basis" for the decision "because it was not something that was becoming of a member of the royal family", adding that he "let the side down".

//She is claiming that she was 'sex trafficked' when she was 16 and sexually abused when she was 17.//
In the famous photo on the landing showing Andy with his arm around her there doesn't seem to be much evidence of any one having been 'sex-trafficked', In fact they look as if they are all having a jolly good time & why shouldn't they? he wasn't married,& she was 17.

It's just a massive coincidence that this 17 year old was hanging around with, and being flown around the world by, a billionaire convicted sex trafficker. I'm sure he was employing her as a professional masseuse and his employment records and tax returns showed that. Why on earth he paid her $500K to keep her mouth shut, I have no idea.
Did I not hear that she signed an agreement earlier about getting something provided there were no other claims concerning anyone else ? If so, she probably didn't have a case to bring. Anything further received would be an unexpected "bonus". As for Andrew, one doubted he'd get to court anyway. Too politically perilous for the nations concerned.

From what I understand from the radio report I heard last night, is that agreement, and the $500k hush money was between her and Jeffrey Epstein. With him gone, the agreement is no longer valid.

bit of an inane comment: you clearly didnt understand the radio report.
The moolah is to prevent, forestall other claims - not hush money (non disclosure agreet) - dont sue money
AB's best seem stuck on this...
but in fairness to AB - - - this is AB
