Gully, Boris might at sometime be over, but he Conservative Party certainly isn't. There is no alternative. In fact the alternative Moscow worse than it has ever been.

And I agree that being super clever isn't the only qualification for being a prime minister, but it's a good start and Gove is very astute. Richie is too young and needs a lot more experience. He's not ready yet!

On the lunchtime news, a conservative association chairman said the media's steady drip-drip was damaging Boris and the Tories. He was blaming the media for Bozo's problems. Johnson must know whether he was at any of these parties or received invites to those he didn't attend. Isn't there an appointments book or his personal diary? The furore could be quashed if he (honesty) said he wasn't there, or that he was, and will apologise for the hurt and anger caused.
