Why should the police protect him. Private security firms are ok for private citizens but not H and M. They are private citizens. Police protection is for working royals and government figures not private citizens.

By all accounts Steff, it's so the kids can meet their Great-Grandmama, which seems fair enough to me. Even if he isn't a working royal anymore, he's still a part of the family. I've got no issue with it personally (although little real interest either). If he's happy to pay for it, I don't see the fuss.

He is a target whatever he does just because he was born in to the royal family. I don't begrudge him coming to the UK - cheaper surely security wise than his father and grandmother travelling to see him.

I am not liking Harry but I don't want him to be a sitting duck for nutters and terrorists - how much would it cost the country if he were gunned down in the UK?
