I was totally repulsed and furious when I read this yesterday. I am just pleased there was the video evidence so this monster had no choice but to plead guilty.
How long has he been getting away with this, how many victims?

As Barry says, just how long as he been getting away with it and how many more victims might there be?
The fact he will be behind bars for 10 years is good, but it really ought to be double that, at least!

Sadly this lady probably would not have been able to give evidence if there was no video proof and the carer could have got away with it. Dementia makes it so very difficult for the sufferer and the family and carers.
My elderly relative that we care for 24/7 told the GP that I had left him in a freezing cold bath for hours. He was totally believable because he was telling his truth. We don't have a bath.
Some elderly people do get distressed about things that can't possibly have happened but worse is when they don't have the words to articulate things that are happening.
This makes them so vulnerable compounded by their physical limitations.

Just reading the link itself was enough for me, without clicking on it. Absolute scum. I hope hos fellow inmates make his time inside seem very long and painful.
