Remarkably we have been advised that Ms Dick was required to stay in post because there was 'no-one suitable' to replace her.
Given her recent record, and that of the force she oversaw, I think the first person walking out of the newsagents next door to Met HQ could have stepped in!
It doesn't say much for all our Chief Constables that none of them are considered suitable for this post, and we may yet see a foreign import in post.
