Benefits Of Brexit?
It didn’t take long for Mogg to continue his lies in his new role - as predicted in my post last week.

Just one part of the BBC article reads:-
It pointed to research from the Centre for European Reform, which concluded that in October 2021 the UK's trade in goods with the EU had been 15.7%, or £12.6bn lower, than it would have been without Brexit.
For my money, a reduced trade of £12.6bn is not ‘little evidence’ it is a lot.
While asking other ABers questions – I still want to know what election I won in 1974.

They drone on because they’re sour and want it to fail. Sad people really … because clearly it won’t.

Far too early to make a judgement
Probably why the media are questioning JRMs assessment by running the story ?
It does not look to be exactly the mutts nuts atm
Maybe clearer and a more accurate assessment in 12 months time ?

//the UK's trade in goods with the EU//
Why are you looking at just the EU, we deal directly with the World now you know.
Here are March's figures, although its difficult to make anything of them one way or another given the other World problems at the moment.

Perhaps, but I dont think you can really start to see for at least 5 years and more likely 10. That way the 'blips' will iron out and the truer picture will arise.
Of course, continually comparing with the EU is daft, we need to compare on the World standing now.

I miss the "old days" when we could help by sending another few £squillion in "emergency relief". Now the poor souls have to fund their own riot control and provide their own bribe to the thoroughly disenchanted EEyoo citizens. Riots police smashing car windows and beating the occupants up in France, Belgium plod blocking the roads to keep the hordes at bay, Germany paralysed with fear and ironically in need of gas to keep their bread ovens burning. "Look at what you could have won".
Still can't see an actual porky, having a view on something is not a lie, not agreeing on the relevance of something to something else is not a lie. For those suffering from RBID and it does seem to effect remoaners mainly, here is the dictionary definition of a "lie": "an intentionally false statement" - so can you please find me one of those.
hymie:"It pointed to research from the Centre for European Reform, which concluded that in October 2021 the UK's trade in goods with the EU had been 15.7%, or £12.6bn lower, than it would have been without Brexit. " - you 5C lot love to cherry pick don't you, it's down because we left the EUSSR, innit? However we have massively increased trade with the 87% of the world that is not the EUSSR, that's right the EUSSR is NOT the whole world! Are you going to incorporate those figures into your machinations?
