I would query whether the Queen lives in such luxury - when guests go to Balmoral, they are advised to take extra jumpers as the place is so cold. And we've seen pics of the Queen in her sitting room with a two bar heater on. I think she lives quite frugally.

To be honest, Sandra is correct in her list of advantages in being the Queen. But the one advantage she hasn't had is her privacy and freedom to do as she pleases. Would any of you really enjoy such a structured life. She has carried out her duties well and earned respect. There are a lot of rich that have those same advantages, such as professional footballers and quite a few shady criminals.

I have never been an envious person. Our life is what have made it. Our life has been full apart from recent yesrs.We now have what we need plus some extra.

It has never crossed my mind that some people have more than we do or that we deserve what those people have.

The Queen has done the UK proud. I hope she feels better soon.

Ken, I don't think our royal family will remain as it is after she goes. It will not have world respect any more and will be no more than the Royal family of places like Denmark where people don't even recognise them or don't even know their names.

I am not really s royalist. I won't be doing anything to celebrate the Jubilee apart from watching pageantry on the television. Britain does pageantry well!
