Greta
The silence from Greta has been deafening,
the world is so close to a world war that will
destroy our planet and she is still worrying about our carbon footprints.

And you then referred to giving Putin a huge war chest. I presumed that you were saying that Greta was encouraging less use of fossil fuels and that that worked to Putin's advantage. I'm surprised that the anti-Greta people can claim that she is at the same a hysterical uneducated teenager and also a mover and shaker.

//What is Fridays for Future? What does it mean?//
Missed it of course we haven't noticed they themselves say "Fridays for Future specializes in “youth strikes” that involve students marching out of their classrooms to demand action on their climate change agenda." Youth strikes? Who knew ... they do buggerall that is likely to be missed by the rational and engaged with reality baddies.

More on the topic of the thread, it's surprising that anyone could plausibly link Thunberg, who wants no use of fossil fuels at all, to the large dependence on Russian oil, which of course by definition is the exact opposite of what Thunberg wants. Completely illogical, and not least because increasing a reliance on renewable energy sources would be far more damaging to Putin's war chest.

No we are not. We have already achieved it. We just need to keep doing it more.
// For the first time, renewable energy overtook fossil fuels to be the biggest source of electricity in the UK in 2020.
