Lia Thomas - Again. Are Sports Bodies Tying Themselves In Knots In Not Wanting To Offend The Tg Minority?

NCAA Ranking as a man - 554th.
NCAA Ranking as a 'woman' - 1st.
'She' beat Emma Weyant, a silver medalist in Tokyo, by 1.75 seconds, and if the report I read at the weekend is true, 'she' appeared to be holding-back, presumably to avoid the gap being even greater as it would make the absurdity of the situation even more absurd.
The gold in Tokyo was won by 0.68 seconds ahead of Weyant, so if Thomas had gone to the Olympics, 'she' would most likely be the Olympic champion.
Lia Thomas is taking the place of a proper woman.
Sharon Davis has commented:
"She has greater upper-body strength and significantly more muscle mass than a woman of the same weight and height. She has a greater lung capacity, better VO2 uptake, different bone density, she is nearly 6ft 4in tall and has large hands and feet that act like paddles."
And a teammate has commented:
"...that they feel ‘awkward’ sharing a locker room with her because ‘Lia still has male body parts [by which I take they mean a penis] and is still attracted to women".
Why are sporting bodies allowing this absurdity to continue at the expense of women athletes?

I do not even know where to start with this. Naomi is doing brilliantly at stating that women are women (I am one myself)- that this can possibly be considered controversia l enters the realms of lunacy. Regarding sport. I have a few credentials in that I was (need to renew) a fully qualified athletics coach, able to coach everything - including tug-of-war for...

mozz: "Trans athletes have their own sports events, perhaps in the Paralympics. Problem solved. " - err no that's a fudge too. They'd just knacker para events too in the same way they have been allowed to with non para sports. The problem is the sports bodies are too timid to save their own sports from this obvious cobras.
mozz: "How will they "knacker para sports" if they only run against other trans athletes? " - you said include them in para sports so I assumed that that we'd have the same issues. If you mean create a third competition for only "trans" athletes that wouldn't work either. You'd need two, blokes pretending to be women and vice versa, impractical at best.
mozz: "Irrelevant Tora. If they're only competing against athletes with similar genetics," - right so in the olympics for example we'd have the standard competition, the Paralympic competition, the men pretending to be women competition and the women pretending to be men competition? In all the sports? seems a bit impractical to me.
//what we have here is geezer's who are average at best in their sports realising they can win against women and exploiting the TROB hand wringing of it all.//
Which is why they shouldn't race against natural born women.
//You don't see any women pretending to be men in men's sports do you?//
You probably would if they were allowed to race against other Trans men.

The sports answer is very like the Paralympics - different categories of sports for different people.
The NHS answer is similar - either every ward is "mixed" (i.e. all genders), or every ward is segregated according to category. In the latter case, a "person with a penis" shouldn't be sharing a ward with "a person without a penis" - that much is obvious, you might as well have fully mixed wards i.e the former case.
In a future, more civilised, society there will be no male toilets and female toilets, there will be toilets. Likewise there will be no male hospital wards and female hospital wards - in this case, I think the easier option is that there are no "wards", only "rooms". If you consider our modern toilets and hospital wards, they've come a long way in the last 200 years. In 200 years' time, they'll have progressed a lot further. Hopefully.

" - once again I offer the solution, if you have a "Y" chromosome you are in the men's ward, simples!
On the specific claim that there was a protest on the podium, this is not true:
