// there is also a whispered agreement that there is another factor keeping Johnson in No 10 – the fast disintegration of Rishi Sunak’s reputation as a viable alternative.
Tory MPs who spoke to the Guardian said they believed his chances of becoming prime minister were now minimal.
“His stock has fallen considerably. I don’t think that he is a contender now. I’m not sure he ever really was,” one key Johnson critic said. //

clearly you shouldnt pay two wodges of tax in two countries for the same income, but after that the journos fall apart
if you work in Xland and then in Yland it strikes me that you pay Xland taxes for the work there ( X-NICS and so on) and Yland taxes for work in Yland
None of the journos have got that ( even in order to refute by some cruddy argument)
and none of them recollected that Boris no less got done for CGT in New York
instead the journos and hacks say that the leddy must pay english corporation tax on indian divis.... oh well.....

You cant. In France you can only leave a third of the inheritance outside the family. Priddy leddy who got the French villa was turfed out and the English heirs got the villa instead. Tax paid by the beneficiary and the lucky heirs often say 'no thanks, not worth it'
I mean the level of discussion in the papers is WORSE than AB - if you can imagine it

PP,
It is not that black and white.
Infosys is an Indian company, but it has a big presence in the UK. It employs 1000 brits and has offices in London, Edinburg and Nottingham. More to the point it has £50million of lucrative public sector contracts (taxpayers money). Infosys pays UK taxes, so why shouldn’t Mrs Sunak ?

Gotta love it really though. Imagine golden boy "Sunni" as he himself did. Boris out because the msm had hounded him out. He is the only viable new leader of the party, and the plan is coming to fruition. ... Wait what is this, Boris is now a hero, from practically zero, after daring to visit Ukraine(have a look at who else has been without any criticism by our "news" generator) and being hailed Worldwide. China in turmoil with Shanghai ready to blow, Biden still working and making comment after medication( happens on here too), Micron a busted flush, and Germany parylised with fear. The 5C plotters who had been sitting on this "story" for months, hoping to release it when an election was due, saw the impact oozing into the sand like a leaky bladder and could wait no longer. Did us a favour then.
