As a civilized society, we do not then decide arbitrarily to deny appropriate treatment for psychological conditions which may have contributed to the original offence, or manifested as a result of the ensuing imprisonment.

As I have pointed out, it does not appear that actual evidence of a psychological condition is present here, but if it is proven to be so, then appropriate treatment will be given.

Naomi, go with whatever definition you prefer. Historically, transsexuals have had an operation, hormones etc- and often genuinely have dysmorphia. They have wanted to try to change sex.
Stonewall, are attempting to conflate that with transgender people- who say the magic words "I am a woman/man", with no physical difference, just gender.
For now, I will differentiae myself- as they are very different things.

Danny, when you have a young teenager with a mental health issue (or a child),our current PC response is to automatically agree they are the wrong sex. Even though they don't know what that feels like. But- it shuts them up, which seems to be the main aim.
So, yes, people are literally being sterilised, because they believe they were born the wrong sex. You must have seen all the palaver about conversion therapy- meaning they are not even allowed counselling?

Dear God he's playing the system because he knows he can ! He knows the authorities will bend over backwards to accommodate whatever he says because such is the wacky world we live in now !! He's a murderer and should be treated as such, but of course that isn't how things are done nowadays, the more evil you are, the more you are pandered to. Makes me sick !!
