Angela Rayner has been accused by Tory MPs of deliberately crossing and uncrossing her legs to distract Boris Johnson when he gets up to speak in the commons.. How low can these Tory MPS sink..

bednobs; Why would N think that? It doesn't seem anything to do with a fishwife reputation. I'm not au fait with Angela R's reputation, so I don't get it. I though N might enlighten me.

Tigger @ 14.57 "Agent Cob was a nasty little man"
I have to agree with you .But the other little man who is running the UK at the moment is also a nasty little man.
The DM isn't well-known for running Labour false flag operations ... the story is much more likely to originate with a Tory backbencher, whoever its actual target is.

In the meantime, the MoS's political editor could lose his Lobby pass over the story ...

Atheist, ‘fishwife’ does refer to coarse language. Angela’s reputation for that precedes her.

As to the source, I suspect there may be dirty deeds afoot.
TCL, I'm just following on from all the name calling on here. Nothing new really.
Thanks, Naomi. Sounds like her fishwife reputation doesn't suggest she is involved, as bad language doesn't come into it.

Bednobs 15.23 Correct, Naomi was alleging that I had made it up.... @ 15.28 Sunday. look it up.
Gulliver, wrong. In the absence of a link or any mention of anonymity I asked you who said it. Nothing more.

Atheist, bad language doesn’t necessarily involve profanity.

15 37 Naomi .You seem to know an awful lot about Fish Wives. Can you please explain to me what it Actually means. ???
Look it up.

15,48 Would read much better coming from you Naomi.
Either it came from a Tory MP, as the Mail on Sunday claimed, or the Mail on Sunday was lying, or doesn't check its sources, or all three ...
‘Allege’ would be wrong too. Not a single one to be seen.
Wherever it came from - a Tory MP wanting to get rid of Boris or from the stirring Labour brigade, I suspect it’s dirty tricks, ellipsis.

Think something Fishy is going on.
Is this the same Angela Rayner who claimed that all Tories were scum, and when Amess was murdered by a Muslim terrorist said she had been misquoted.Did she say all Tories are scum,or did she not say it?
> Wherever it came from - a Tory MP wanting to get rid of Boris or from the stirring Labour brigade, I suspect it’s dirty tricks, ellipsis.

Yep, but just take me through how it could come from "the stirring Labour brigade" and end up in the Mail On Sunday as having come from a Tory MP?

> Is this the same Angela Rayner who claimed that all Tories were scum, and when Amess was murdered by a Muslim terrorist said she had been misquoted.Did she say all Tories are scum,or did she not say it?

Yep, she did say it. I've no time for her either!
Ellipsis. It’s reported that a Tory MP said it but do we know who told the newspaper?
